How much does it cost?

Sessions are R100 per player per hour. No membership required. Solo sessions, groups of 2–4, and large groups of 5–8 are all welcome.

How do I book a session?

Book online at paarlarena.co.za/golf-simulator/ — select your date and time slot, pay securely online, and you’re confirmed. You can also call us on 083 388 4909.

Where are you located?

We’re inside Paarl Action Sports Arena, located in Wamakers Plein Shopping Centre, Fabriek Street, Lemoenkloof, Paarl, Western Cape. Ample parking on site.

What is a golf simulator?

A golf simulator is an indoor system that lets you play real golf courses using a real club and ball. You hit into a large screen, and sensors (we use FlightScope launch monitor technology) instantly measure your ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and carry distance — then simulate exactly where the ball would land on the real course.

What is a launch monitor and why does it matter?

A launch monitor is the sensor system that tracks every aspect of your golf shot — ball speed, club head speed, carry distance, launch angle, and spin. We use FlightScope technology, which is the same brand used by touring professionals. It means your data is accurate, and every improvement you make in the simulator translates directly to the course.

Can beginners use a golf simulator?

Yes — absolutely. You don’t need to be a golfer at all. Many of our customers have never played golf before. We can explain the basics, choose beginner-friendly settings, and make sure you have a great time. Golf simulators are actually a great way to learn because you get instant feedback on every shot.

Golf simulator vs driving range — which is better?

A golf simulator has several advantages over a driving range: you play complete courses (not just hit balls into a net), you get detailed data on every shot, you can play in any weather, and you can choose from 100+ world-famous courses. A driving range is great for warm-up; a simulator is better for improvement and fun.

What courses are available?

We have over 100 iconic courses available including Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Augusta National, Sawgrass, and many more. All courses are accurately recreated using real course data.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

No. You’re welcome to bring your own clubs, but we have club rental available for R50 per player if you don’t have any.

Is there food and drinks available?

Yes — we have a lounge area where you can relax between rounds. Drinks are available on site.

Can I book for a corporate event or big group?

Yes. We accommodate groups of up to 8 players at a flat rate of R400/hr (capped at the 4-player rate). For corporate team outings, events or league bookings, call us on 083 388 4909 or email info@nextgengolf.co.za and we’ll sort it out.

What are your operating hours?

We’re open 7 days a week, 9 AM to 9 PM. Book online anytime.
